What it's really like (so nothing surprises you)
- The film is see-through.Like a real negative. Hold it to a window and the photos glow. On a dark table they're dim.
- No spring inside.He winds the film back with the tiny clapperboard: slot it in the top, two turns. Fiddly the first time, then it's a party trick.
- It's small on purpose.The roll is 1.6 in tall and each photo 1.2 in. Selfies and close-ups print best. A wide group shot won't.

One keychain is $18.99, and it's photos, not jewelry: small and personal, not a big statement.
is it enough for a main gift?

can i see my photos before i pay?
Yes. Each photo drops into its frame on the film as you pick it. Move, zoom, reorder or remove any of them before they go in your cart.
will his face be a blob?
Not if the photo is a close-up. Each photo prints about 1.2 in tall, so selfies and close-ups print best. We center each photo on your faces and warn you if a face or a caption is cut off.
are the photos see-through?
Yes, on purpose: clear film, like a real negative. Hold it up to the light and the photos glow; on a dark table they look dim. Some people expected glossy prints, so we're telling you now.
how does the film go back in?
By hand, there's no spring. Slot the tiny clapperboard into the top and turn it, about two turns when the film is all the way out. Fiddly the first time.
can i put his name on it?
Yes, on the clapperboard: write his name in the "Actor" line. Nothing prints on the film except your photos.
can his and mine have different photos?
Yes. Choose "Him and you", switch off "Same photos on both keychains", then tap Pick your photos. You fill his film and yours side by side and add both in one go.
what's in the box?
The film roll with your photos, the tiny clapperboard, and a pink gift box with a magnetic lid. Nothing to wrap.
can i return it?
